80 Photographies de Tokyo en HDR

Après les 50 Photographies de Tilt-Shift, voici 80 Photographies de Tokyo en HDR.

La photographie HDR (High Dynamic Range Imaging) permet d’obtenir la plus grande plage d’information dynamique possible sur une image. C’est-à-dire que chaque pixel contient davantage d’information sur la couleur, la luminosité et l’intensité par rapport à une photo classique. Le principe est donc de fusionner plusieurs clichés d’une scène pour obtenir le plus d’informations possibles sur toutes les zones claires et sombres de la photo. Alors oui, 80 Photographies de Tokyo, mais pourquoi Tokyo? Après une après-midi de recherche, les plus belles étaient celles sur la ville de Tokyo à mon goût.

Bien évidemment, certaines photos ne vont pas plaire à tout le monde (mais vous pouvez faire une sélection et faire des livres photos en fonction des thèmes qui vous plaisent), certaines sont extrême et d’autres très light au niveau de la couleur et de l’intensité des couleurs.

J’espère quand même que vous apprécierez ;-)

    honestly, I live in Tokyo and made HDRs that are better and just cleaner :-/

    I live in Tokyo too. HDR really captures the sensory overload of the place, and these shots are beautifully composed and right on target. (The shot of the ridiculous Gundam robot at night should go on a Mogwai album cover.)

    (I also like your attitude toward unwarranted criticism. Your work speaks for itself. Your critic above is disparaging work that his own photography doesn’t stand up to so well, in my opinion.)

    I agree with Fritz. Many of these have too much color saturation and look overprocessed, almost like postcards from the 1950s. A few photos (or just one)that are done exactly right are always much more impressive than a ton of average ones. HDR can be so much better than your examples. See the HDR group on Flickr for some outstanding HDR photos.

    truly, I can not possibly compete in terms of saturation and overprocessing ;)

    but when I say that I believe that I make better HDRs of Tokyo, I do have the obligation to show my Tokyo-HDRs:

    To all the other haterz that whine about it looking overprocessed: Ummm, HELLO?!?! That’s the point. It’s a creative art form that simply uses a photograph as a starting point. Would you complain to Van Gogh that his work was too vibrant and surreal? Sheesh. Get over yourselves.
